Get Tips for a Successful Internship Program at our February Webinar!

The Ohio Museums Association is proud to kick off our 2017 professional development calendar with our February webinar "Establishing a Successful Internship Program," February 13 from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.

The webinar will be presented by Megan Pellegrino - Academic Coordinator at Walsh University, and Mandy Altimus Pond - Archivist at Massillon Museum.

Museums want to utilize interns as much as possible, but how do you gage if the program is effective? How can museums make sure they are making the most out of their internship program to not only help the museum, but to provide a fulfilling experience to the interns involved?

During this webinar, Megan and Mandy will offer examples to help you create a successful internship program at your museum - or to help increase the effectiveness of your current program. Topics will include: how to find interns, how to build relationships with universities, how to properly train and manage interns, and examples of projects to assign to interns that will benefit both the intern and the institution. The webinar will also include time for participant questions for the presenters.

Join us from the comfort and convenience of your own desk Monday, February 13 from 1-2 p.m. and get great ideas to help your museum have it's most effective internship program yet!

Click here to register - but don't delay! Registration deadline is Wednesday, February 8.

We hope you can join us!
