Photography and Video Release Statement

By registering for and attending the Annual Conference, you grant the Ohio Museums Association and its authorized representatives permission to film, photograph, or otherwise record your participation in the event. You further agree that such images, photographs, and recordings may be used by OMA without your prior approval in any form and for any lawful purpose including, without limitation, promoting OMA. Such use will not entitle you to any credit or compensation. You release OMA, its officers, and employees from any liability connected with the use of any image, photograph, or recording taken during OMA’s Annual Conference.

Code of Conduct

The Ohio Museums Association is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming conference experience for everyone. We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment in any form. Read our full Code of Conduct.

Health Protocols

OMA is excited to welcome you to Sandusky 2024.

With the staggered rollout of vaccines and boosters in Ohio, we know everyone is at a different stage and at varied timing in their booster status. Due to these considerations, OMA is not requiring proof of vaccination for our 2024 annual conference.

In order to protect our most vulnerable communities and their caregivers, we do encourage all conference attendees to be fully vaccinated and boosted.

If you feel sick, or have symptoms of illness prior to the conference, we ask that you do not attend. OMA will refund those registered that need to stay home with illness.

Masks are encouraged, but not required for indoor conference events.

Cancellation Policy

80% refund for cancellations before March 1, 2024. No refunds after March 1, 2024 (with exception for illness, as specified in the OMA 2024 Health Protocols.)
