Not able to make it to the full OMA conference but still want a great OMA 2018 experience? Join us Saturday, April 14 for a full day of exploration and fun at three iconic Dayton museums!
The day will start at OMA2018 Conference Headquarters, the Holiday Inn Dayton-Fairborn at 9 a.m. Tour itinerary will include: 9:00 a.m. - Depart the Holiday Inn Dayton-Fairborn 9:10 a.m. - Arrive at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force Attendees will have the option to self-tour any of the 1 million square feet of museum exhibit space or take a guided tour of the the NMUSAF's newest 4th Building, led by Chief of the museum's Collection Management Division, Roberta Carothers. At 10 a.m., there will also be a guided tour of the Early Years and WWII Galleries (tour duration is 1 hour and 15 minutes). Attendees can also check out a movie in the museum's theater (schedule to be released closer to conference date), ride the "cockpit 360 degree" or the "Virtual Reality" ride, and explore the gift shop during our visit time. Attendee's box lunch selection will be availabe in the first building Café starting at noon. 12:30 p.m. - Depart the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force
1:00 p.m. - Arrive at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery Attendees can explore the Boonshoft Museum's many exhibit areas, including the Discovery Zoo. A 2:00 p.m. planetarium show will also be available for attendees 3:00 p.m. Depart the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery 3:30 p.m. Arrive at Sunwatch Indian Village This 800 year-old partially-reconstructed Fort Ancient village and archaeological park is a National Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Attendees can explore the interpretive center and outdoor village (weather permitting). 4:30 p.m. Depart Sunwatch Indian Village 5:00 p.m. Return to the Holiday Inn Dayton-Fairborn Ticket cost: $55 Ticket includes:
