Join us for the July #OHMuseumChat - the FINAL #OHMuseumChat!
The Ohio Museums Association (@OhioMuseums) is proud to present our final #OHMuseumChat - Thursday, July 20 at noon on Twitter!
This month our topic is "Ohio's EMP Chapters - Getting Involved and Staying Connected."
Joining us will be Amanda Davidson-Johnston and Tony Pankuch from Northwest Ohio Emerging Museum Professionals, and Chris Shanley from Columbus Emerging Museum Professionals.
Haven't participated in one of our #OHMuseumChat's before? No problem! It's easy to join the conversation!
So what exactly is a twitter chat?
A twitter chat is a live event focused around a single conversation hashtag - in our case, #OHMuseumChat. Our chat will use twitter as a means to connect museum professionals across Ohio (and perhaps, beyond!) for a relaxed and informal discussion on whatever our monthly topic is - which, for July is "Ohio's EMP Chapters - Getting Involved and Staying Connected."
Participating is easy!
All you need to do to participate in the #OHMuseumChat is log on to twitter by noon on Thursday, July 20 and search #OHMuseumChat. Then, you can join the conversation by adding #OHMuseumChat to your tweets! It's that simple!
As this month's chat is focused on Emerging Museum Professionals chapters and how to connect, we encourage you to bring your thoughts, questions, and ideas for the Ohio chapters in attendance, and learn more about the Ohio chapters and the National Emerging Museum Professionals Network.
Be sure to follow OMA on twitter - @OhioMuseums for all the latest updates from the Ohio Museums Association, and don't forget to follow #OHMuseumChat for the full July discussion as it happens.
Be a part of our final #OHMuseumChat!
Thanks to those who completed our recent Programs and Events survey, the OMA Professional Development Committee has been hard at work evaluating and retooling our professional development offerings to better meet your needs.
After a little over 8 years of tweets and chats, OMA will be ending our #OHMuseumChats on twitter after our July 2023 edition. We thank everyone who joined in and tweeted with us over the years, and look forward to continuing to connect with you on our social media channels.
Bring your ideas, questions and best practices for a lively and inspiring conversation with colleagues from across the state to the #OHMuseumChat, Thursday, July 20 at noon. We hope you can join us!
