Mark Your Calendars for the October #OHMuseumChat!
The Ohio Museums Association is proud to host our October twitter chat – #OHMuseumChat– Thursday, October 19 at noon!
These chats are a great, informal way to keep the communication flowing between museums in Ohio (and beyond)!
For this month’s topic, we will be discussing “Promoting Your Collections.”
Joining us will be special guests Jennifer Cohen from Poba: Where the Arts Live - @POBAorg, Cameron Wood from the Ohio History Connection - @OhioHistory and Midwest representative to AAM’s Curator Committee, Members of the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force Collection Management and Research Division teams - @AFMuseum, and other museum professionals from across the state!

So what exactly is a twitter chat?
A twitter chat is a live event focused around a single conversation hashtag - in our case, #OHMuseumChat. Our chat will use twitter as a means to connect museum professionals across Ohio (and perhaps, beyond!) for a relaxed and informal discussion on whatever our monthly topic is - which, for October is "Promoting Your Collections."
Participating is easy!
All you need to do to participate in the #OHMuseumChat is log on to twitter by noon on Thursday, October 19 and search #OHMuseumChat. Then, you can join the conversation by adding #OHMuseumChat to your tweets! It's that simple!
As this month's chat is focused on how to better promote your collections, we encourage you to bring your questions for our expert guest panelists! Take advantage of their expertise, and learn more about this topic!
