December 2017 #OHMuseumChat Resources –Non-Conventional Museum Spaces

The Ohio Museums Association (@OhioMuseums) held our December ‪#‎OHMuseumChat - Thursday, December 21 on Twitter. Thank you to all the individuals and organizations that participated in this conversation!

For December's topic we discussed Non-Conventional Museum Spaces.

Many thanks to our special guest panelists Alison Caplan from the Akron Art Museum - @alisonrachal, Alexandra Eliopoulos of the Akron Children's Museum - @AkronKidsDotOrg.

Have questions for our panelists you didn't have a chance to ask during the chat?

Be sure to reach out to them via twitter with #‎OHMuseumChat!
Weren't able to make it to this month's chat, but want to stay in the loop on the great conversation with other museum professionals? We have you covered! You can find a summary from December's #‎OHMuseumChat here.

Resources referenced dur
ing this month's chat and more are listed below.  These resources demonstrate different aspects of non-traditional museum spaces. The subjects range from how to set up your own pop-up museum to what to do with non-traditional spaces, such as construction walls and alley ways. Keep in mind each museum or institution is different, so these techniques and tricks might not work for all audiences.

Thanks again for a fantastic December chat! We hope you can join us for our January #‎OHMuseumChat,  Thursday, January 18  at noon as we discuss  New Year (Museum) Resolutions!
