Join Us Tomorrow for the August #OHMuseumChat!

The Ohio Museums Association (@OhioMuseums)  is proud to present our August ‪#‎OHMuseumChat - Thursday, August 17 at noon on Twitter!

This month, our topic is "Submitting Awesome Session Proposals."

Joining us will be special guests John Luchin from Classic Interactions - @ClassicInteract, Charity Counts from the Association of Midwest Museums -  @MidwestMuseums, Dina Bailey from Mountain Top Vision and AASLH 2017 Program Chair - @DinaABaileyRuth Brindle Dobyns from the Ohio Local History Alliance - @OhioLHAand other museum professionals from across the state!

Haven't participated in one of our #OHMuseumChat's before? No problem! It's easy to join the conversation!

So what exactly is a twitter chat?
A twitter chat is a live event focused around a single conversation hashtag - in our case, #OHMuseumChat. Our chat will use twitter as a means to connect museum professionals across Ohio (and perhaps, beyond!) for a relaxed and informal discussion on whatever our monthly topic is - which, for August is "Submitting Awesome Session Proposals."

Participating is easy!
All you need to do to participate in the
#OHMuseumChat is log on to twitter by noon on Thursday, August 17 and search #OHMuseumChat. Then, you can join the conversation by adding #OHMuseumChat to your tweets! It's that simple!

As this month's chat is focused on session proposals, we encourage you to bring your questions for our expert guest panelists! Take advantage of their expertise, and learn more about this topic!

Be sure to follow OMA on twitter - @OhioMuseums for all the latest updates from the Ohio Museums Association, and don't forget to follow #OHMuseumChat for the full July discussion as it happens.

Bring your ideas, questions and best practices for a lively and inspiring conversation with colleagues from across the state to the #OHMuseumChat, Thursday, August 17 at noon! We hope you can join us!

Support OMA with your
tax-deductible donation!

A contribution to the Ohio Museums Association will help us continue to provide important programs and services to Ohio’s Museums.
