How can your museum retain donors and raise funds in the midst of a national crisis? Join Laura MacDonald CFRE, principal of Benefactor Group and vice chair of Giving USA Foundation to reflect on the lessons learned from past crises like 9/11 and the Great Recession. She’ll provide tips on how to:
- Engage major donors
- Salvage special event revenue
- Pivot your membership program
- Leverage the charitable benefits of the CARES Act
Also joining the panel is Hillary Bates, Chief Development Officer at the Ohio History Connection, and Jessimi Jones, Executive Director of the Springfield Museum of Art to offer insights and examples of how their museums are working through fundraising during COVID-19, and how the crisis is changing their post-virus fundraising messages.
The session will conclude with Q&A time with our panelists.
